Hi all, previously posted about a possible drifting transit but when I went to view the van it was a load of ![](http://i25.tinypic.com/2005o2q.jpg) . So I got the hump and went round to see a mate who runs a salvage yard, then in the corner I spotted this... ![](http://i680.photobucket.com/albums/vv169/83retro83/011.jpg) ![](http://i680.photobucket.com/albums/vv169/83retro83/012.jpg) Well, rude not too.... ;D But the thing is now that i don't know what to do with it! Its done 15000 miles from new, it even has the original tyres on it!! Would seem a shame to start modifying it when its so original, so iv sort of but it on ebay, but i keep getting 'do it, it will be a laugh' sugestions from the missus (yes, shes worse then me!!) so i need some creative sugestions from you guys!. Banded steels and a wack with 'the stick'? Sell it to somone with more bottle? Help!! ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

Without sounding like a boring sod... That car's a bit too 'nice' to be drifted imo... a 15k Estelle is pretty damn rare now! There are much more capable drift cars out there and I don't think the gearbox would take the abuse ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) I'd be surprised if you don't get a decent price on ebay (a similar blue one sold for about £1200 last week). With that you could buy something that's a little less mint and have money for mods too ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I've heard of people fitting the RX7 engine in them, makes for hell of a car, seen clips on youtube.
Cheers,
Stu.

If you want to drift a Skoda there is a race prep'd shell on eBay along with a forgotten project 130LSE.

Indeed you didn't, sorry I read "baldyman77"'s post to be your's. Reversible mods aren't terrible, and as always, it is your car so you have the ultimate say. My girlfriend has been going crazy for this, unfortunately her bank balance isn't equally as crazy!!

8-)WOW! That's fantastic! Looks like a 120L 4 speed to me. Far too original and nice to be modified in my opinion, but it's not my decision.
Watch that Skoda Owners' Club lot, they're a bit odd! ;D

Aw, That car used to belong to my best mate's dad in Essex. He was planning a 16v conversion for it at one point. Its a beauty in real life, trust me! Unfortunately, one day it went pop on the A127 so he shifted it due to losing interest and needing the cash. I hope you keep this but its your call ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)
