Here's a bunch of handbooks, manuals, brochures and other vaguely papery things which are car-related. Worth a look?
First up. BSA and Villiers motorcycle manuals, both 1958, filled with all kinds of useful information and diagrams, nice condition, £4 each.
'Help Yourself' Duckhams guide to simple car maintenance. 1973. Very 'idiot guide'ish, but quite handy I suppose. Very nice £4.
1956 Austin magazine. Stuffed full of fifties adverts, price guides, hints and tips. £3?
Engine test data book, 1965. Presumably a garage book, with the engine specs including tappet clearances and many other handy values for every current car in 1965. £10
Vintage Shell road map, fair condition, North England & Southern Scotland. I guess late sixties/early seventies as the M1 is about 15 miles long start to finish. £3
Citroen cars brochure, a history from the Type A through to DS. Very good condition, £5
BL supercover booklet, comprising a folder to keep your car's handbook, various bits of supercover documentation, a card with a Kennings Derby dealer stamp for my grandfather's maxi, UNU***S. The main leaflet features a Marina, Princess, XJS, Dolomite and an Allegro, applicable to all those cars and printed around 1976-1977. £10
Early Maxi handbook (Mk1?) in good order. £7.50
Finally, a book on 'Modern' diesels (Modern in 1972) and a book on F1 crashes which is a good read. £3 each.
I'll take offers on anything, all prices are plus P&P.
