hi, were moving house soon and need to get rid of our lawn mower. when moving it I noticed it was a suffolk (although slightly newer than these ones), do you know if there is a bit of a following for them? or is it worth saving myself the hassle and flogging it for £20 or so? cheers (and il go grab a pic in a bit) anyone??

Not sure about a following exactly, but they can be worth a bit of money. ebay seems to be the best bet.

"clean them points. And don't break the aluminium flywheel when you are tryin to dismout it from the crank." Currently I am dismantling a punch, and I managed to break three fins of the flywheel? Have I destroyed the engine now. They are on opposite sides. No, it will be fine, the vanes are for controlling the governor, they blow against a flap which is lnked to the carb to control revs.

Hello all Got a great Suffolk Punch petrol mower from Grizz last year and now I'm trying to get it started. Does anyone know owt about them? When I pull the starting cord it feels pretty stiff - all suggestions gratefully received! Is it running yet?
