Want to spary a complete underside with waxoil or similar, don't have a compressor to use. Thought about thinning slightly with white spirit, making sure it's nice and warm then just using a pump up garden sray (the 1L ones that pressurise and just have a spray, not a long hose and nozzle).
Any other ideas as it will need to be sprayed to get into everywhere. Have once tried the proper sray kit, but didn't find it very good, especially for the money.

I would find a compressor, you can pick up a new one for less than a ton or s/h a lot less. Just one of them little buzzy ones would do.

A few years ago I bought a waxoil spraying kit which was basically the garden sprayer and it was less than useless.
I have a compressor now and it is FAR easier.
Buy a cheap compressor of borrow/hire one. The time it will save will pay for itself.

Whichever way you end up spraying, I find sticking the tin in a bucket of boiling water for 10-15 mins before using, turns the waxoyl very runny, making it excellent for getting into those hard to get at places.

I tried spraying it with and airline and didn't have any luck, I use the waxoil pump up tin thing which works OKish but you have to get it nice and warm first as already said with a bucket of boiling water, you have to get the hose and trigger in as well or it just sets again and won't come out.

You can thin the first coat of waxoyl with used engine oil, thins it down loads and it seeps into gaps and cracks really easily. Then you can go back to it and put on undiluted waxoyl. Makes an already messy job even more messy though and drips on your drive.

i have the waxoyl's own sprayer gun and found it really easy to use, i had no issues! But defo need to make sure it's warm first! Slightly cool waxoyl makes for lots of time unblocking it!

Ive used the standard spray tin 10 or 15 times and it's a pain it the waxoil aint hot, last time i used a fence spraying leccy job but again if it was thick it blocks up, i used diesel to thin it and it was fine.

a good tip with the waxoyl pump is to have a friend do the pumping while you negotiate all the spraying. oooh errrr!
