Hey guys, been a good while since i've posted on here! Havent really done so due to having not quite a retro car anymore as I sold the Volvo But just thinking today that I shouldnt let the fact I don't own a retro motor stop me from coming on here Heres the car i've owned since selling the Volvo about a year ago now! (Time flies when your having fun!) It's a Cosmos Black 1994 BMW 325. I won't post up the process of whats changed between initial purchase upto now but heres a before and now comparison lol! Before: Now: I've tried to keep the exterior pretty subtle and originalish as I think they look lush in stock guise anyway. Just wanted to sort of put an OEM+ flip on things Another reason for bringing myself back on here is that I may also be returning to the slightly more retro side of life within the next couple of months maybe

Hard as nails... What rims are those? They look like contours from this angle, but there's way too much lip for it to be?
Maybe I should post my e36...

They are indeed contours bud replicas I think though as there 5 series fitment. 17x8.5 ET13 front 17x10 ET13 rear They needed ummmm a little work to get them to fit lol! Heres how the rears sat with 255 width tyres before the arches were flared Thanks for the comments peeps Depending what happens with this other car I'm contemplating to have will decide what progression this car takes

Looks good mate. Less is more and the world certainly doesn't need yet another e36 M3 replica! Are they e34 M5 rims then? The yellow spots look good. Gonna go for yellow main beams on my e21.....

It is indeed the silver grey leather bud, love it myself! The cushion leathers are a little cracked etc due to age although I have re-dyed all the seats and compared to how they did look (a creamy beige colour!) compared to how they look now/how they should look they're a million times better! I like the whole black/white combo of the exterior/interior and vice versa on the E36's (white exterior, black interior) I love the sound of the straight 6 too exhaust wise all I have is a DIY de-cat and that alone has made it sound lush! Perfect for daily driving but has a right grunt on full chat lol! Love you Astra by the way dude! Was having a nosey at it at the last breakfast club meet and it's immense!

Re dying the seats sounds interesting? how does that work? bmw seats are not the most durable are they lol! I will have to check em out next brekky club. I have silver leather and its looking worn in places to. If you havent already, i highly recomend a cone filter, the noise is superb then!

I bought a scuffmaster kit from one of the leather gurus on the BMW forum (bmwowner.com) and I applied it using an air brush kit on my compressor. Heres a couple of pics. heres a pic of my armrest after being re-dyed against my passenger seat before doing that and heres a pic of the same again but with the passenger seat been re-dyed and a full shot of the re-dyed seat The seats (especially the passenger side for some reason?) have quite a bit of cracking on the cushions. The dying didn't repair them as such although it did seem to plush the leather out slightly closing them up a little better and also it got rid of the dark lines they created in the leather as it dyed whatever was inside the cracks too lol! Very very happy considering I paid £35 for the Dye, Cleaner and Conditioner and a few nights in the garage lol By the way. I know what you mean about the cone filters! Havent got one myself i've got a K&N replacement filter and de-restricted the air box. Not QUITE as grunty as a cone filter but definately an improvement over OEM still

Thats a great improvement mate, id be well happy with that. Might have to give it a go myself. My drivers side has a hole that needs sorting too so i might change that for another if i can get my hands on one. I also need to drop it because its standard height at the moment & looks a bit pants, if it looks half as cool as yours when done ill be chuffed.

There's a guy with an e36 with the turbines in the city I used to live in... if that's what you mean by Dustbins. And it's black. Anyways, your car is clean as hell.
