Right, hope someone can help with this:
My Merc runs 215/40 R16s on the front, and I'm unsure what tyre pressure to put in. I have it into my head that low profile tyres run higher pressures than ordinary - is this true?

My brother-in-law is a tyre-fitter / mechanic. He recommended running 30psi on the 205/40/17's on my bimmer.... as opposed to 28psi on 185/60/14's.... seems to be working well too - no excess wear on edges or centres, feels pukka too. hth

i always pump my rocco front tyres (165/65R14 i reckon) up to 30psi. it means they last a couple of days longer before i have to pump them up again

its ok its broke most of the time so i never get to use it haha but yeh, thats the score. i try keep the fronts normal though for some front end grip. I'm back to using 15's at the front now so i figure 30psi is about right for them.
