...To buy old Jags and their ilk?
With fuel prices the way they are, perhaps now is the optimum time to purchase large 6,8 and 12-cylinder motors for engine transplants into smaller lighter cars..?

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Good thinking Mr Penski - no-one will want to touch a gas guzzling tank in these times of fuel "shortages", but by employing a little foresight, things will be back to normal by the end of the year and barge prices will be rising again! How about a nice BMW 525i SE?

Sounds like a good idea to me, although there are some big, thirsty motors that probably can't go any cheaper. Volvo 960s, Jag XJ40s and the like are rock bottom as it is at the moment, I picked up an ex diplomatic limousine Volvo 960 LWB a while back for £3500, in immaculate condition, and you'll lick up a more normal one for less than that if you go the right places, so if you're looking for a cheap barge, how about going Swedish? ^That's mine at the Rest and be Thankful, on its way up north for a weekend away with the family, the pair in the background who seem to be staring at something are my parents who I unintentionally got in the picture! ;D ;D

;D ;D Nah, I wish, I'd happily be on anyone's payroll at the moment! ;D ;D Thanks for the compliments on the motor by the way, I posted it as an example of a bargain barge, although you'll be lucky to find another one exactly like that for sale in the UK.
