Was up tip today and saw this to one side. Oh is that a Chopper I thought, wander over and it's a new model one (mk3?) without the tag-nut gear changer from when the were relaunched a few years back. Anyway had a poke around and aside from surface rust appears fine. Had a chat with bloke that runs it and a deal was done at exactly 0p. The kinda price I like, and handy since I had about £2 on me! Anyway here it is. Needs tyres pumps but seems good. At that price it's worth it just for a set of ape hangers!

Rode it for the first time this weekend, everything works perfectly, rear brake will held you do a nice slide out as you stop like a big kid. Did find it quite unstable though, steering was a bit all over the place, might just be me!
Shame the previous owner took off the chopper stickers on the frame and stuck on silly bulldog and George cross though.

The original ones are majorly unstable. And it weighs a tonne. I was tempted to fit V brakes on mine as the original U's suck.
