I have a couple of really long aerials that I blagged from a pair of Rover P6's. Not sure if they're standard on those but a lot seem to have them.

Nah what you want is a proper retro-oldskool aerial: Might have difficulty attaching the aerial ball though!

Been looking for a CB aerial on eBay for the Min, you can pick them up new pretty cheap.
I haven`t seen a coat hanger aeiral for ages, I think they were standard fitment on Astramax vans ;D

I could do with a different aerial for our dub, the current topper tends to flex it at speed

I have plans for one of the aerials - it'll be topping the Benz as soon as I can bring myself to drill a hole in the roof! Got me thinking about aerial toppers now, although it wouldn't last five minutes round my way before some chav nicks it. The other one will be going spare - not in the best condition (either of them), and without a mounting bracket (I made one out of an alloy rear-view mirror arm from a Toyota) Would post it to you gratis if you wanted it Latham - might not be what you're looking for though

On the same theme, what about retro ICE installs. I'll start: Blaupunkt LW/MW preset. Gets RTE radio 1 (Ireland) and Magic, 5 live etc through a single 3 watt speaker but not much else. Looks the part though, plus it fits in the dash without cutting it away. Here it is installed:

yours is the first dash mounted stereo in a bug that i have liked! Nice one, it really looks the part!
My mate sells all kinds of hot rod style arial toppers. Tiki ones, flaming heads, flaming eyeballs, etc etc. They cant be nicked easily either, when i took mine off the golf i had to use a pair of molegrips and nearly popped a vein such was the force required! ;D
