Just wondering if anyone knew of any companies (UK) that did custom coilover setups.
as finding stuff for rarer older cars like the starly is pretty difficult.
any places to look??

I won't be there when you cross the road, so always use the Green Cross Code.

I'm sure you can buy tubes that fit over your struts converting them to coilover. No idea if this good or bad though? Could be the new spring clamps.

I called Dampertech and the guy was really helpful,... wasn't cheap though 600-ish quid,.. all in. That converts from struts at the front to coil overs,.. and uprates the dampers and springs at the rear.. Oh and it was all fullt adjustable

Fully adjustable sounds 'hella sweet yo!'

From the late 70's i made my own 'after a fashion' ,you could always find good ones on the front of Hillman imps.Or triumph hearalds,of course they weren't adjustable like the always mega expensive Koni's et al .On my roadster i have XJ Jag rear coil over units. The springs were way to hard so I got some springs from the front odf a Suzuki ST90V carry van, exactly the right fit but a lot softer and gives it a ride that is quite good, not hard but not soft either.

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.
