Hi guys,
I'm thinking of selling the turbo imp, not too sure why, mabe its al the talk of charades and the thought of 5 speeds and carpets. If i did sell it iw was thinking of putting it up for £2500, do you guys think this is a reasonable price?
I am going to have to lay the car up untill i finish uni anyways, as i cannot afford to keep it up there. So when i get back its going to be in a bit of a state, id prefer it to be used.
All thoughts welcomed
cheers J

Any chance of a quick run-down of the spec (possibly with an idea of how much it would cost to build another...)
I have a friend currently looking for an Imp.

Yea, know what you mean about having a car at uni. In Cov it's 10 quid a week for parking where I am staying, plus everything's in a half hour's walking distance. Plus all those ppl asking for lifts (although, possibly not much of a prob in yours ) Also, not being offensive to student at all, cause I am one, and there's no need to tar people with the same brush, but with all the pubs and things, I know someone would pick up on my car and do summat to it. Hell, when I had my sprint there, I came out in the morning to find the Frontera next to it had had all the windows smashed in!!!

Yeah just where i live the kids have no respect, no morality, and no curse word brains! They have taken al iking to my car and see fit to kick punch and bend it. Also the salt in swansea makes my car fall to bits. I also don't think i can afford the insurance this year, last year of uni and things are gettin pretty tight! Everything in town is about 10mins walk or 2mins on a bike, so dead easy. My friends had his GTiR virtually demolished, fonrt and rear screens, tops of doors peeled off, stuff nicked, and thats about 200yds from my house. There is also a feeling of been there done that, I'm too young to start haning on to cars, when i can try something new. Tempted by one of those mitsi 2000turbos, there was a nice one for sale at retro cars. As for the spec Crazy World of Arthur Brown, wait for a few weeks when retro cars comes out, itll be in the october/november issue J

Also the salt in swansea makes my car fall to bits. Ive just blazed 5 liters of Waxoil under mine this morning! Where abouts are you living now? Ive moved out of the Chambers and am living on the MounPleasant hill right by uni. I'm a bit worried about mine too up that way. I'm not saying you shouldnt sell it, I'm the same i always see cars i want and end up selling up and moving on, but you will miss that car for ever, its the one you will always talk about int the pub ect! i think we are supposed to get jobs after uni (so ive heard) so keep the imp and save up and buy another car as well!

I'm staying in the same palace as last year, cromwell street in the dip. You should be ok where you are, there is a lot of traffic there. I cat stand to think o it under a cover at home, where will it rot more, at home under the cover, or at uni in the salty sea air? Oh what to do

Dude, don't sell it, it's part of you and you are part of it. How would you feel seeing someone else driving your creation?

How about you leave it at home,.. then see how you feel about it when you go back at Christmas...

don't SELL IT!!!
I understand the reasons for wanting to sell it but if it was mine i would not want to see it go.
It looked and sounded fantastic at Imp 05.
