You guys will know. Where might I be able to find a 1970s or early 1980s Celica for sale? I have been looking around over on the 'Bay for interesting motors to replace my efficient but boring Omega. I really love the look of the oldest Celicas, Sigmas, etc. I really liked the Starlet on another thread too but want something a bit bigger for towing, etc. Any of you know of any forums or other sites for that kinda stuff? Cheers! I'm

I am here to satisfy.
I might sell my 1979 Celica ST 1600 coupe (5speed manual), It needs alot of work to make nice, but worth it imo.

Cheers for that offer, topl. Two things, though: (1) I gotta flog the ol' Omega first before I can afford such a beast and (2) I'll need it to be a runner. I cannot get to work other than by car! I work, erm, "in the field!" Literally! ;D At the minute, I am just looking. I do want to get something interesting, though! I'd be more than tempted by your 1979 Celica. I bought the Omega because I felt that it would be sensible, practical, fast (sweet Jesus is it fast!), not too pricey when it went wrong... Well, I'm through with being "sensible..." I wanna classic daily driver again! I miss my Imp. Now that's a full-blooded racer, though! I could commute in it, I guess... I think Vauxhall/Opel chose the name Omega well. Owner - "Oh b*ll***s. It's gone wrong again." Vaux dealer - "Oh well, MEGA bucks to fix it! Again!" I'm

I really want a set of gunmetal Watanabe RS-8's for my car, I did a really rubbish mockup. Hmm maybe an inch less than that, those look about 15". Maybe next year!

Hehehe. Forgot to mention... the rope is there to hold a rain cover on, it's not structural Oh and I would consider a swap for anything Japanese / RWD. KP61 Starlet etc, as long as it doesn't need lots of welding and stuff.
