;D Looking at the prices of Eaton M45's on ze bay, has got me thinking.
The van, although adequate, would be fun with some boost.
I've never really been a fan of turbo's, mainly cos I like a nice free flowing exhaust system, without a blower on it, just a "thing" that I have.
Super chargers, however, I really do like, I see them as engineering brilliance.
Now the van (1914cc 1982 VW T25) has a fairly sedate compression ratio anyway, cos it's a van, and they are made like that unless they have the H/O DJ injection engines, which have about 10.1:1 compression, I think mines closer to the 8.5 or 9:1 mark, so I can't see any reason not to fabricate the mounts, and make a blower setup.
To be honest, I don't expect a 200BHP monster from 1914cc, it's about 78 as stock, I'd like to add an extra 20 or so, just to "pep" things up, most of the work will be done by me, so I'll be keeping it low cost.
Anyway, tell me what you know, so I can get to work
