last week i went to a scrapyard in middlesboro with a friend of mine to get a caliper for his bros ax, outside the scrapyard, (one of many round near the docks) there was a moggy 1000, a thing that resembled an mg tc, (front end bodywork and arches missing) and a camper thing, the starcraft, based on a mk3 cortina. body wise the fibreglass looked ok, and all 6 weller wheels + 1 spare were all ok. the tax disc showed it was last on the road in 97, and altho a little dirty, looked pretty sound, only went as far as sills as it is very oily on ground there and i wasnt really dressed for getting too dirty! interior was shabby but all important stuff was there so leaving me to think of how it ended up there, hope some one buys it and gives it a re furb, was marvelous! retro camper cool!

I am 95% sure I saw my first one on the A1 on Thursday.. wasnt exactly a moving experience but was interesting all the same, looked in good condition.

Street Machine built one in the 80s as a base when they were at shows...even that one looked awful!

yeah not the priettiest things, but with a mk3 cortina as a base theres lots of potential there even if the front end dose look terrible...
