So I was having a her indoors induced tidy up this evening (it wasn't the words she used, more the squinty eyes glare) and in various places around the house I found some of the steering wheels I have collected over the past few years.

So I have three of these - I was after one for ages after sitting in a Porsche SC at a show that had one in. They are sooooooo chunky and feel perfect for a retro motor. I paid far too much for one in fair condition 2 years ago but then 6 months after I found this perfect one for £40
and then a few weeks after this one was bought for about £20 with a 911 hub and a horn push. Once I had sold those I kind of turned a profit on it!

I think this one is a bit rare - the more I read about the fella the more I'm impressed.
I'm still on the look out for a few others - a Niki Lauda would be nice as would a Mario Andretti. They get rotated on the car so all get a bit of use - at the moment I have a Prototipo that I was given as a thank you on there - it's a bit larger at 370mm and makes low speed manoeuvring a bit easier!
