After a week of watching it, emailing the seller, and gettting a bumch more piccies, I decided I couldn't let this one get away like I did with the last one. That sold for £1900 but needed a new gearbox but drivable. Was relisted as the buyer never showed, and I missed it again on a buy now. This C900 full pressure turbo cabriolet is now my new and exclusive toy. I'm back in retro in a big and dangerous way. Yes it is newer than the Celica, but it is an older design. Worried now about "buy now" blind bidding on a car I've never physically seen.

I'm pretty sure that they were at least on the late 9000 Carlsson's. Not sure that they are the same stud pattern between the old and new 900's/9-3's...

the new 9-3s are 5-stud, and the 900s are 4 stud.

i love saabs. there was one locally, a 900 tintop for £notmuch but the missus said "ewwww that's horrible" and it was never mentioned again.
i just like the fact if you pootle around, it's an armchair on wheels. if you floor it they've got the power to make a very, very quick armchair on wheels.

This one is actually quite a sweet deal for a 212k miler. 1 years MOT, 5 months tax. Roof is next thing to be looked at. Not ripped or leaking, but showing wear particularly along the seem tape, hence the gaffer. Saab service history until 185k. last owner servicing since. He's a Saab club fanatic too. The engine was fully rebuilt with bills for parts for £1k, and the box replaced with a refurb, and the rear suspension plus the front balljoints were all done 20k miles ago.
Can't wait to get it on Saturday. I hope the seller isn't a good liar.
On the subject of wheels, they are late model 9000 Aero 16"s, earlier Aeros has the deep dish straight spokes with centre caps. Carlssons had the deepdish but with anthracite option and they were also available in 16" on the Aero. But I get the original "Twisted" 3 spoke 15" too.
A 265k miler at Hagstrom on an F plate is selling for nearly £4k

love the classic shape, especially the cabby version...........
Friend of mine was selling one of these in very good condition, same colour as well, lots of recon parts and low mileage.......
£1800 was all he was asking for it, don't know if he still has it
