That is one sweet motor and its crying out for an LS2 LS2 would be a nice choice, yes. The RV8 and Borg-Warner 35 is advantageous in a couple ways though. first, the Rover lump is fairly light- a lot of weight in the back of the vehicle is missing, so it helps retain the fore/aft balance. the BW35 isn't the strongest nor the best autobox out there but it does have the 'advantage' in this case of the valvegear being in the sump at the base of the 'box (something that was complained about as it stuck down too low) but it fits very well in the stock Victor tunnel with only a little hammertime required  But yeah, if it were a case of chop-it-to-make-it-fit, that'd be a good place to begin  --Phil |

Will not be for sale for a good while, I am colecting parts and thinking about wheels and colour ready for a start after the Daf classic modified is finished, hopefully in a couple of months
