It´s early days yet but i´ve been asked to put pen to paper about this years convoy to RRG09 so here we go.

Anyone know how to get this google pic on here?
Thursday 13th August
Set off from Borgholzhausen (home) and drive the 400km to Brussels to meet up with John (GTVSaviour)
Drive the 140km from Brussels to the camping site in Adinkerke.
Anyone wishing to join on the way are more than welcome, the mobile will be switched on (for a change) and if anyone wants to camp at our place, in Germany, the night before we´ve got plenty of room.
The caravansite is just off junction 1 behind the fun park "Plopsaland" and as long as I know how many people/cars are coming I can reserve the pitches so that we can camp together.
Friday 14th August
Drive the 18km from Adinkerke to Dunkirchen to catch the 10:00AM ferry to Dover
Drive the 80km from Dover to Rochester to meet up with Rian (Grizz)
Drive the 270km down to Yeovil and camp (hopefully) at RR09
Saturday 15th August
Drive nowhere, do nothing, sleep, eat and drink lots of beer ;D
Sunday 16th August
Enjoy the Gathering
Hopefully we´ll be able to camp overnight otherwise we´ll have to drive somewhere local to camp for the night
Monday 17th August
Bimble back to Dover and get the afternoon ferry back to Dunkirchen
Drive up from Dunkirchen to Adinkerke and camp overnight again
Tuesday 18th August
Everybody scatters and drives back home.
We normally bimble along at 60mph so there´s no hurry, it´s difficult keeping large convoys together but i´m sure we can meet up in England with one or two of the lads.
I won´t be booking the ferry yet but the sooner we book the cheaper it is, especially if you´ve got a caravan or trailer on the back.
Moneywise go on the following rates.
Camping Adinkerke - can´t remember exactly but was cheap 8Euros per night
Ferry- 60/70 Euros return - trailers extra
Food and beer for several days- hundreds
Petrol money depending on how far and how much your car uses.
Entrance fee Yeovil- Thanks to David all foreigners get in for free.
Track action at RRG09 will probably cost extra.
So if you´re interested or have any questions just post up here folks. ;D
Right i´ll start the inevitable list...
oldbus & family - Hopefully in the van & trailer but might end up in the Jag or Capri depending if Frau oldbus comes along or not and whether I can get the van back up and running in time! ;D
1. oldbus+3 - car & trailer - 1 pitch
