I'm wondering if it would be safe to go any lower? stance looks good, but if you want it to handle better, then you need to drop the rear, I had an E28 M535 and the handling was totally transformed by dropping the rear an extra inch. it made it bite in the corners when you powered out. It was very addictive Pics below Tony

I'm wondering if it would be safe to go any lower? Probably not, but will that stop you? Erm......it did! A little too much sump to road interfacing has mullered the sump......but don't fret a new one is on its way and a clever skid plate is on the drawing board.......oops ;D

Forgot to ask today, what extras do yo get with the shadowline? I noticed the tasty leather. Looks superb in the metal As far as i understand it Shadow line is not a trim level its just a name for the non chomey versions. As far as E30's go you get chromeys with just as high a trim level as a shadow line, the shadows lines just don't have chorme

cool look, just getting into these old beemers this shadow line thing my 735i has the chrome deletion was extra on cost, and all they did was paint it out as mine is showing chrome where its worn through in door shuts. Loving the Z3 wheels trying to decide what to do about wheels for mine but very nice car old beemers look evil in black.

I had to bring my car back up an inch on Bilsteins but still looks good and handles even better. Sump guard also on way. Still loving your car and wishing the g/f would sell her Passat and get an e28 herself.

Just wanted to ressurect this and say that if my E28 hadn't have been so doggy then it would have wound up suspiciously like this one (as opposed to the infamous "rusty" one) - in fact it was this one that made me click "confirm bid" and then dash off to get it. ;D

Love the E28, and the shadowline in black is a real sleeping monster. Looks awesome.
I've got a '88 635csi, so the internal pics are very familiar - I'll post some pics over the next few weeks.

If some one had said Z3 rims on a E28, I would have thought fail! But this car is the exact opposite, it rawks a phat one ;D The rims and stance are perfect, lovin you work.
