I find it incredibly difficult to get excited about these Mk2 Fezza's, even if their as nicely done as that one.
Maybe having spent too much time in them in the mid-90's (when they were overpriced and underpowered compared to, say, a shove-it or estell). Back then they were the "safe" choice for any 17-year old, much like a 9-year-old corsa today. Yuk.

Got to agree with nickB about not being a fan of MK2`s but that looks a really nice neat uncluttered installation.

it grows on me.... the shortened number plate recess, the wing vents, the super-tidy engine bay. all stuff that can work on any motor, and are really well finished.
and it's brown, so it's Rad.

Repost forgiven...especially as you've found some fresh pics of it.
It's also good to know that our eyes are open, and top-notch cars aren't slipping by un-noticed.

That goes to show how the execution of an idea is so much a part of getting it right. Those little details lift it so much. I really like well done MkIIs, as much as MkIs (which I had many years ago). Interesting that there's a rear screen wash jet, but no wiper! The satin black bullet? mirror looks nice as well. Perhaps I'll look at one for the Volvo. See, it's inspiring!

a friend ofmine bought another mk2 the other day, as his main one is in pieces temporarily, but the new one is so low the arches scrape lots, and i think the bump stops are missing! by the ride, shocks don't seem terrible though, so anyway we are swapping the suspension over from his old one so he can put his nice cossie cross spokes on, and so he can go down bumpy roads without injury! it is ok though, has been re sprayed ( as the matt black bit is missing round the windows) but the doors are a little scabby along the top and theres a small dent in the side, and obviously the bonnett is no where near where it should be, but is good, am trying to encourage him to get on here!

Thats a mk1 fez taigate on the mk2 there i think...... Seem to remember they are interchangerble but the difference is only very slight! Wouldnt be my choice of rims however. Love mk1's, not so keen on the mk2 fiestas, absolutely hate the mk3's ...... but cant deny that this mk2 is a looker!

This is the mk 1 tailgate. The mk 2 had the recess for the number plate. And yes they are interchangeable.
