Security speaking its not the best idea but thats why I leave nowt in, had my modest tape player nicked in 1994 so that was all i needed to remove facias and owt thats not rubbish So we're looking at a spare wheel and boggo jack, and general curse word in the van. there might be a miniture Sulley though... ;D Lighter the better and In the Sierra erm its interior and loads of nuts and bolts etc ;D MR2 Plenty of hot mICE this one, Junk and mICE

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Oh and Mk14dr is underestimating how many tools he had in his car. Apart from a welder and angle grinder, you had everything needed to build a car lol. He hasn't really put a 1660 in he just emptied the boot and stuck with the 1100 Matt

In my Passat is my welder and the gas bottle. Makes a loud 'thump' against the back seat at traffic lights. Really should get it out but it's bloody heavy.

Not meaning to be a spoil sport, but is this thread wise? as anybody who knows where you live, now knows whats worth stealing . Obviously doesnt matter with the guys who are saying things like 'wheel brace' and 'spare wheels', but a couple of the guys are saying things like subwoofers, tools, and spares. Bearing this advice in mind, Id like to say that my boot contains 150lbs of plastic explosives, wired to a mercury switch. And a rottweiller

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Nothing in the boot of the Minx though there's a few basic tools on the rear pass side floor.
Herald's got a box with oil/water/basic tools/spare hoses & dizzy parts and Mrs_Seth's site hat and shoes.

I have enough trouble opening my boot with the key, anyone wants to spend half hour breaking in to steal a small box of my cheapo emrgency tools some ATF and whatever other old tat is in there i guess thats up to them, especially if they think they can do it quietly enough not to make 5 dogs bark and me look out the window.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

A box containing post-its, blu tac, spray mount, marker pens, and other materials crucial for a trainer/consultant on the road. A set of rubber Citroen car mats Roof bars Jack Sleeping bag Overnight bag "Bag for life" shopping bags (I never remember them otherwise) A mountain bike front wheel A bottle of LHM A bottle of screenwash
Not too bad, by my standards!
