ight you are looking at a very very fine example of a st185 celica GT4. The whole car is sound, recently flew through its MOT just needing a CV boot which we had done. The MOT man was stunned at how solid and well kept the car was when he had it up on the ramps, he said he has a few come in but none as nice and solid as this which is always nice to hear.
It has 9 months mot and 3 months(april) tax left on it.
Everything has been done and converted for it to be in the UK it was imported in 99. The clocks read MPH but obviously the distance is still in KM even though it now measures MPH. So its done 120,000odd KM which is only 75,000ish Miles so its done hardly any miles at all. Was recently given a fresh set of plugs and oil change, all over ignition parts were fine so were not changed. Just had a new rocker cover seal put on as it was weeping slightly and I wasnt happy with it, inner and outer seal done.
All electrics work, mirrors, windows etc everything is all in very good condition throughout really.
Recent Recon alternator as the old one packed up this cost quite a lot of money. Turbo seems to be quite recent as it looks rather clean and has no play in the shaft at all. Also found an expensive receipt regarding the turbo so I'm assuming its had a recon turbo.
Modifications :
Manual Boost controller (currently closed off so running standard boost so no extra stress on engine)
Decat
Fet Turbo timer
Apexi exhaust
airbox resonator removed
1st and 2nd gear boost limiter removed so you get full power in those gears
adjustable twin piston dump valve, works with the AFM so doesnt run weird
Matt black with red pinstrip 15" toyota wheels.
Brand new numberplates as old ones were a bit tatty but are included
Lowered
Interior is near perfect the seats and everything are mint it could just do with a new steering wheel(it has the original) Where its sat in the sun at some point and the leather has tried out and cracked. Wheels can be picked up cheap I missed a mint one on ebay for £20. Nothing major just want to be 100% honest.(seat under cover is just as perfect as the passenger seat, recaro cover not included)
The tyres are all nearly new, brake discs and pads are all newish and stop VERY well(2 pot front calipers)
A brand new genuine toyota rear diffbush has just been fitted as it clonked when you let off the accelerator quickly after some hard acceleration, a very common GT4 problem. Bush cost £112 on its own from fensport(receipt to prove). Also changed the diff oil for new castrol stuff when doing the diff bush. No more clonking and drives lovely now.
The personal plate is included in the sale which of course you could sell or keep its up to you, it always gets lots of comments from other people.
At the end of the day this is a monster of a car 2.0 4 wheel drive turbo for very little money. Fensport are only just down the road from us and thats where any parts have come from. You wont find a faster or better handling car for the money I doubt. I need the money to put into my mk2 16v project
