As I'm skint and the whole commercialised institution that is St. Valentine's day grates even more in the current economic climate I have decided to fight back.
This year she's getting something from the heart, that has cost me nothing but a little creativity and some time.
Stage one
Draw up a plot path and laser cut some hearts out of 1mm think HIP sheet.
Stick onto some wooden blocks, and hey presto a press tool.
Stage two
Inset a peice of card and clamp in a vice.
While that is pressing draw up a few more hearts for laser cutting from the card.
Stage three
Stick a folded peice of red paper on the inside, and carefully craft an envelope from the same.
Now all I have to do is think of something to write inside.
