Hi, I'm after a Merc saloon (can't be an estate). Basic criteria include the following:
Must be cheap (less than £500)
Must be 3 litres or less
Must be a saloon, no coupes
Must NOT be red or any derivative thereof
Must have enough T&T for me to get it home
Must not be a complete heap with no chance of passing another MOT.
Must not be lowered
The ideal (in my eyes) would be a 2.6 190e or a 3.0l or less W124 or 3 litre W126, but others will be considered.
Think that's it really - it's for the Mrs while I take her 420SEL off the road and give it a once over. I've got until the end of May to get the 'right' car for her, so I'm in no great rush!
Please don't offer me anything other than a Merc 'cos a Merc is what she wants! I have no say in this....
