Firstly there are some stunning motors on this site and I no mine is no oil painting but it brings a smile to my face and gives me the chance to learn mechanics as I go and scrape my knuckles most weekends!
Bought it about 5 months ago but it was stolen shortly afterwards I finally got it back in dec and have been spending the crhristmas break getting it back on the road and ready for the ppc £999 challenge
this is where we are now at the start:
From here I need to rip out the majority of this
and from here remove
the dated fuel in jection and add
just waiting on my manifold base plate from the manifacturers so I can start to get the manifold made and the fuel pump to arrive.
as you may be aware I am competing in the PPC £999 Challenge at mallory park on may 23rd. so will be removing the interiror and getting it rolling road tuned with new carbs in brimingham so will post up before and after results ect.
I now need to find a weigh bridge to weigh before and after as well any ideas in the dudley area?
I have also got a set of these due out of the paint shop in a few days in white:
(image just for show mine are 4 bolt fitting)
they only weigh around 6.4kg's each as well so will be good for the comp hopefully.
also any ideas how best to remove the porsche decal from the sides?
cheers
Ben
