Essentially it's modification to the US style - Federal-spec bumpers and lights, American wheel choices, etc. It seems to be with Hondas mostly. Essentially just the opposite of the American JDM scene.

I'm guessing the point is to make your JDM car look as though it could have left a US dealership, then with US-Style aftermarket parts... I'm not 100% sure, all I know is I like the results, especially the 323 Cab... a car I didn't even know exsisted if I'm honest.

The part I think is best with this USDMing is when a Japanese is looking at an American car, US spec but with for instance a fake JDM plate.. What does the Japanese do? He copies the American, to the last detail that he orders a replica custom JDM plate. Note the plate and everything: I love it

Hmm... reckon we could see this trend expand? Well in the VW scene there have been one or two 'U.S. Look' cars popping up lately, although perhaps not to the extreme that the USDM guys are doing it. Over here it seems to be more about running a similar stance to what they run over the pond rather than going all out on making what could be described as a 'replica' I guess.
