I have been reading the forum for a few weeks now and really like the cars and projects featured. Anyway I thought it was about time I introduced you to my mini (Austin).
I got Austin in December 2001 as a badly modified '88 Mayfair, hand painted in black with a fake ERA body kit.
I started on a full rebuild, unfortunately I didn't take too many pictures, however I have got a few which shows how bad it was in the first place.
All the work has been done by me, the following has been replaced.
boot floor, 1/4 panel repairs, valance, inner and outer sills, front floor halfs, flitch panels, scuttle corners, a panels, wings, front panel, bonnet, subframe, then painted and fitted up.

after top coat, lost of cutting back, didn't get a good finish out of the gun
The first incarnation, wasn't too happy with the look
So changed a few bits and pieces, spent a bit of cash and ended up with this
I love these wheels (need to get lock studs)

It's done less than 6 miles in 6 years as I am now in London and car is in Glasgow. However, with a bit of luck we will be reunited soon and I will get to drive it like I stole it!!!
