1991. I think there's some people on here who were born around then, so it's pretty retro ;D Very cool anyway, I remember that model Galant but don't think I've ever seen a VR-4 before. Any plans for it? EDIT: Actually I'm talking utter curse word, here's a photo I myself took of one at a rally last year ;D

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

plans are for it to remain absolutely standard and mint condition I think it's already had a full engine rebuild, new shocks, new radiator, wheels refurbished etc list goes on

Sweet car, retro indeed and looks like it's gone to a good home where it will be just as pampered. Love the subtle looks - purposeful without being OTT...this era of Mitsy was the best (before the plastic add-ons went a bit mad!) It's even got the original air purifier in the back.....the one I had in my old Mitsy used to kick out the most amazing smell. I wish I'd kept it! What other great accessories has it got? Oh - and most importantly, how does it go??

Phil, were almost all the rally VR-4 Evolutions LHD? I noticed the only one that isn't in the group of pictures is the second last one.

yeah I notice most of them are LHD, but I guess they're that way for the european rallys etc. Most WRC cars these days are LHD also.

Why have i not seen this thread. You've got one nice vr-4 there mate. I've never seen a black one in the metal, just a few white and sliver ones.
Looking at your car it makes me think i need to get around to putting in my JDM fender top light things.
Cheers

These are excellent motors - I've always liked these and the older Mitsi evo4's. Not overstated - just an awesome turn of speed when you mash the go faster pedal. That looks mint
