blimey thats a good'n. i had a rusty metallic red one a few years ago.
that ticket thing is a Japanese built sheet and is RARE, they almost never get left in the car after it is built. If you could decode it it will give all the specs of the car, such as what seats, what engine, what tyres, basically any variable according to trim level or export market. Despite having owned over 300 Datsuns, I have only ever found ONE ticket.

Lowerage soon Simon I hope, though not sure I want to cut the original springs, so may go for finding some shorter springs.... for now Datman, thats interesting, cheers for that info. Ill treasure the factory ticket and maybe one day ill find someone who can decode and translate it. Stuyizz, the drive back was effortless.. well, apart from being knackered and strung out on caffiene.. cruised back on the speed limits all the way with no bother. Some new boots are in order though, felt a bit sketchy on some of the twistys of the A303. Stu, yeah see you there, work permitting. The wheels are Colt- sport Alleycats according to a post on Spitsx's Sapporo thread, though Google with safe-search off brings up some rather unwheel-like images, like the rims and may well stick with them.

nice to see this made a good RR home! so plans? Hey mate, you got yours mot'ed eh?.. win! Plans.. hmm.. well, the obvious lowering, and sort the bodywork out- theres a few dints and rust spots, but nothing too bad (unless its well hidden). At the moment just get it looking fine, and go down the shakotan route I think, though round at Utterpiffles last week and he was mentioning hydros.... ..i'd love a lowrider, but not really sure the Sapporo is the one for that. Just see how it evolves and go with the flow edit: id also like to just say a massive thanks to Andy, who sold me the car, top geezer and the smoothest, most straightforward, car transaction ive ever had.

Yep MOT'd cheers. Top motor, you've scored a bargin as for hidden rust, I've been looking but not found anywhere for it to really hide a touch on the inner wings but that was all. as for hydros, well thats up to you, i was looking into bags but think for now springs will do the job, I'm thinking of an angle grinder approach, let me know what you choses to go for, 1 coil 4 coils ect. now stop paying attention to me and get in the garage...
