hi I have a 2.0L mk3 passat bottom end and box for sale along with a 1.8 gti mk2 head complete with a kent cam. the bottom end and been painted black and some of the bolt-on parts silver the box and the head have not been painted just cleaned up. the head also has a 90% polished mk3 rocker cover on it aswell. I will say thought that the block only have the engine monts, power steering bracket, alternator bracket, water pump and distrobuter with it. the reason for sale is that I was building this up for a my mk2 jetta but I crashed it before I had chance to drop the lump in, it has been sat on an engine stand in the garage since! I am open to resonobale offers and on time wasters please its getting a bit boring now thanks for looking tosh ps I have a twin carb set up for sale aswell!!

I'm interested in the lump that the title sugests. is it a passat lump with gti head on it and a kentcam? or are these all seperate? if its together i may be interested depending on is it the transverse or longitudily mounted engine?

ya its a transverse lump, its a 2.0L bottom end witha 1.8L gti head the reason for the diffrent head is that the 2.0L head has a really bad flow and the 1.8L has a good flow. its a very common conversion to do, basically most mk2 gti owners just replace there bottom end with the 2.0L lump. and they recon with a ported and polished head and enlarging the exhaust valves a little bit they can make 140 BHP, so with the cam a bit more.
hope this helps

I believe youll need an adaptor kit to blank off the breather on the side of the block. If we could see the pics it would tell us all we needed to know.
