Hi guys, wondering if you can help. My uncle has got a Marlin kit car, with a marina O series in it, which he is built for long distance trials. anyway, we where wondering what this pipe goes to (the spare one on the pic) is it just back into the air box? thanks James

iirc its a float bowl vent and vents to the atmosphere.

Yes, that's the float chamber vent. As a precaution, lead a pipe from it to somewhere away from the exhaust manifold unless you like lots of white, dangerously combustive mist if the float sticks..... (trust me, I know.....)
