OK, so most of you know that Ms Grizz, Nicola is as much or more of a petrolhead than what I am.
About 2 months ago she texted me one day, to ask if I would trust and let her arrange something for my birthday.... this immediately peeeed me off, as I am not the birthday type (I do not mind getting older ;D ) but senseless parties at hotels, sportclubs etc just irk me.
However, when I called her she explained that it would be just the two of us, no kids, nothing..... Hmmmmm ;D
I did agree.
Last week she eventually spilled the beans and told me we were off to a guest house in Wiltshire for the weekend, I had already taken Friday off as well.
My treat on Saturday would be as long as I liked in the National Motormuseum..... WOOOHOOOOO !!
Friday we got to the guest house by 11.30 and by 12.00 we were back in Salisbury, did some shopping, but also spent about 3 hours in and around Salisbury Cathedral , which of course is impressive.
I will not bore you completely, but here are a few photos of both Friday and Saturday.
The guest house we stayed at, well worth the money, and close to everything. 16th Century farm house.
The well is in the conservatory where we had breakfast every day.
