How much is your car worth in money spent compared to the actual book value.
Who's gone maddest on this
My ZS is pretty moderate: worth about £1400 in added parts parts book value £100 (maybe)

I spent £4,500 (including the grand I paid for it), face value is about £700 - but I've got an insurance value of £4K

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

I reckon my Golf owes me about £3,500, if you count the rollcage I just ordered. And I'm thinking about blowing my latest credit card limit increase on having the gearbox rebuilt with a Quaife LSD (£1,100) to go with the planned engine rebuild (£1,000-ish). Of course, now that the car is non-standard, it's probably worth less than I paid in the first place (£2,000).
Silly isn't it, when you think about it. But FUN.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Insurance tried to look up my Skoda. No listing. Hence no replacement value. Bought it for $800. Eventually straightened them out. They actually sent me an insurance slip listing my car as a Skidoo Phone conversations with them tend to be a challenge ;D

Finally found one locally. Just have to prove you have another vehicle for daily use. Seems to be the way to go. Their primary focus is vintage but no vehicle age limits.
