What ever happened to Gladys, last time I saw her was at one of the last 80s chelsea cruises, parked up in the garage by Battersea bridge, looked like the sills were rotting thru and a bit more rust elsewhere.

I saw Gladys at Lakeside Cruise, I think it was the first time I'd seen hydraulice in action! That car would still look 'right' today.

Wow some great pics there. Steve Wells Pop pickup in the background of one while it was still road legal. The Sebspeed Camaro went to the states to race iirc. GranZZilla is one of the coolest brit customs ever. Gonna have to dig the feature out now. Matt

Its amazing to think that those photo's are older than me, and were taken by you when you were my age. How things have changed.... P.S Does that make you feel old?

Its amazing how dated some of those cars look and how some of them could have been photographed yesterday. Anyone remember this car being used to advertise a certain brand of jeans? Note "Satsifaction" the Mk3 Cortina in the back ground there. Thats now owned by a chap local to me.

Just for half a second there, Seth, I was hoping that green Capper was "Pieces of 8". Darn.
The Granzilla is fantastic. VERY '66 Charger-esque. Dunno if that was his intention, but it's a bold look.

HW, That was a lovely looking car. Didn't the build quality/body restoration techniques leave a lot to be desired when found out in later years though? Matt

quality stuff! wonder what has become of out fashion cars like that vitesse nowadays? laying dormant rotting away? or broken up for parts way back when? I still like granzilla. I'd have to change something, some big inch smooties or tall moon discs would suit the look.

These are fantastic!
I was actually there at that SM 'Hot Sunday' at Santa Pod! I remember it because my mate's Renault 11 Turbo blew its gearbox in the car park and we ended up going home on the back of an AA flatbed.
I've got some I took at various RWYB's at Avon Park between '87 and '93 , I'll have to have a scanning sesh at my sister's.
