Good luck with the project, they have all the right elements to make a great car; lightweight revvy 4 pot, rear wheel drive, twin wishbone coilovers up front, stiff chassis and fiberglass body, 550kg weight in std. form. Am I the only one who can't see the pics though?

Bit cold in my garage too. Could barely feel my fingers when I was under the car trying to remove the prop-shaft.

I think the shape of the ass look similar to that of a Mk1 Golf. But that might just be me.

Thats a bit of a shame that. I bet the van didn't even have a scratch on it.
Going to try and lift the body off tomoz. Think I have most of the bolts out holding the body in place apart from the ones in the boot. Does anyone know exactly where all the bolts are and what i may need to look out for? Any advice on the body removal would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck with getting the body off or if you've already done it how did it go? I did my one last weekend there were 2 up front near the bumper, 3 in the front of the foot wells 6 that hold the seats down (the other two just go through the fibregalss), 2 more on the out riggers along the edges, 4 where the steel band in the body fixes to the chassis and 5 in the boot! I think thats the lot of em!
