finally someone else who knows about riced cars. although saying that the only part about riced cars i like is the wheels. and as for whether he should go with the riced or retro rim: depends on what the retro rim is and what the riced rim is

TR6 steels should go on...and look wide-track-tastic! pics? What a fantastic opportunity to post this pic again i6.photobucket.com/albums/y205/Jediworrier/datsun.jpg [/img] Fortunately I seem to have lost the pic with one severely dinked. So what you done with them Rmad, they on a car yet or collecting dust? Oh dear, it seems I can't do that

I say leave it alone.
Rice rims will look bent. Steels will look well traveller.
Rover = stealth car. Keep it that way.

I agree, on those 800's its difficult to improve on the standard 17-inchers. Looks a minter too!

Black weller mo then ;D Bad boy, dirty boy, filthy habbit ;D Hey, they look just like TR6 rims! Incedentally, Jediworrier...yes, they're just gathering dust, I'm looking for a cheap front pair and then there's tyres to find.

I would also like to say that that 800 wants lowering more than anything! Maybe he should invest in an airbag system and run the standard rims...that would be much, much cooler! In fact, given the Honda link there's probably a system available off-the-shelf.
ps. His choices aren't that bad either, it'd probably look better with those than it would on TR6 rims!

hmm, yeah, ive told him to leave it standard as i don't really agree with the steelies either.
he's going for a 50mm drop aswell, and thats the only thing he wants to do to it looks wise, oh and the sterling rear spoiler and red/grey rear lights.
35k since new, fsh, not a thing wrong with it, 2.0 turbo t-series power with 200bhp and a 0-60 of 7 secs.
£1200 with a part ex on a wibblepoo daypoo
