I've already got one but am debating whether to tackle the rust or find a better car. It needs to be a good honest straight car, but paint condition unimportant. I don't want a w124 (yes they drive better and yes they are faster but I don't dig plastic bumpers 'fraid) and I won't want a 240D. Ideally a 230TE or 300TD. I don't want a mint car so am not looking to pay big dollar (has to be under £1200 really, unless it's a corker).
