Ello chaps...
My 106 diesel needs an exhaust repair - its split at the cat exit, and also has been cut off about 12" before the cat, as it was dragging along the ground.
It needs the front pipe sleeved and welded together, and the bit at the back of the cat welded back onto the rear pipe.
Garages around here are only interested in selling complete new exhausts, the metal is all pretty solid and thick, so you shouldnt be chasing holes..
I'm in Sandhurst, Berkshire, an can travel around 10 miles ish to your place/garage.
Front bit should be a doddle, the rear bit could be a bit of a pain, but anyone with a bit of skill should be able to tack it into place ok, then gun-gum it then build it up with some scrap metal or something.
You know what time of year it is, so I'm skint. Reckon £40 if you can patch it all together nicely is fair? No garage I know of in the entire area is remotely interested in any cash work like this at all.
Drop me a PM if you are interested, I could do with this being done in the next week or so if possible.
Cheers!
Jamie
