I guessing this will end up in the whinge bin but nevermind.
I was reading through a thread on another forum more suited for modern cars.
The thread was about a lad that has a R reg Fiesta thats got a few problems and he was asking whether to repair it or replace with a newer car, One of the responses was this:
Do we really want 11 year old cars on our roads ? It's not as if it is a classic or even likely to become one. Surely the strength of the bodywork must now be in question. Wouldn't like to be in an 11 year old car that gets potted at speed on our roads.
This really got my goat, is this the attitude of people now?, "Oh the car is over 10 years old now, might as well scrap it?"
Mind you with this credit crunch going on many people may have to starting changing there attitudes about older cars.
