	I went and had a look at the Gti I welded up during the summer, the guy has finally got round to doing it, but when he poked a bit of 'crud' on the front crossmember, it turned into a gaping hole right round the suspension mount. Does anyone have one we can replace this with? It's a Mk2 16V on an H plate. Ta.

	just visit a local scrap yard. there all the same cross member/subframe from 16v to a 1300.........
