I've always preferred Wayne Saunders Focus. Can't find a pic of that though the only one on google is a dead link.

I remember the Bruiser well. My beach buggy was up at Hausers for a new cage at the same time that they were building the PT for Paul Marston. It started life as a brand new, fresh from the showroom car and Hausers actually beat the yanks to it by building a race car out of one of their own before they did it themselves. I've got a pic somewhere of my buggy sitting nose to nose with the Bruiser in the workshop, I'll see if I can find it and scan it in. ;D

didn't that end up in the USA? Yeah was ordered by Ford iirc, used to promote the Focus when it first came out. Think the drag car pre-dated the release of the production car. Matt

No Ford supplied a pre production body, and a company called Hauser Racing built it into a drag car. Had a Cossie motor and ran mid 7s iirc. Infact I think this is it with a new paintjob. Looked loads better with the stock silver paint. Matt
