hello i need a fuel tank for a Vauxhall Viva HB one in good condition will be ideal but anything may be considered as i may be able to make one tank from two and also i need green carpet for the same car mike sarah.mike@talk21.com

Don't like stretched tyres, very low profile tyres & I think a car CAN be too low. Perhaps I'm odd.

I think HC tanks are the same fitting. There's just the standard 8 gallon (fits under boot panel) and the bigger 12 gallon (replaces boot panel). If I'm right, it'll make finding one much easier!

HB a HC vivas have different tanks filler necks on HCs is on the side and HBs is at the back the tank on the HC the 8 gallon tank fits in the boot floor where the the 12 gallon fits under the floor with a cover panel which is just a top of a small tank cut down but many thanks for the reply its the top of the tank that's gone on my HB tank

Well I still think they're the same!
I know about the filler necks but they are seperate items joined by a hose.
What I meant about the 8/12 gallons was that either of them will fit and do the job for you.

Filler necks on HB welded onto the tank in a totally diff place to a HC... But i know what you mean Martin, same sort of basic shape.... ;D ;D
