I have for sale a Japanese spec engine and box from a '93 Honda Prelude, would be ideal for engine conversion
2.2 vtec, 197bhp I think, the uk spec ones are around 185.Will come complete with LSD gearbox which was an option only in Japan and apparently quite sought after here, complete with all ancilleries, ecu, engine loom, driveshafts, gear selector cables etc.
I'll confirm the mileage later, though it's in km's as it's an import.Good runner, made a very quick car, no crunching into 5th gear which is apparently quite commmon on these.
It's currently still in a rolling shell, was a car I built for non-contact oval racing - I only took it to one meeting and did 2 12 lap races.Can be heard running, if you like you can take the whole thing as it is then you've got brakes etc as well and can make a bit back in scrap.
Looking for £400 - I thought 250 for engine 150 for gearbox and I'll throw the rest in with it.I will split it if there's enough interest.
It's in Oxford, although I could be persuaded to chuck it in the back of my Volvo and deliver for a fee. (If you want the whole car you'd have to come and get it) Could strap it on a pallet if needs be.
