Mike just did a photoshop for me.... The alloys are £250 per corner, which is rich for my blood, however, I do like the look, because it is pretty much "Non Scene"

I'd stick with what you've got already. Do both! You've got one awesome set of wheels now so could save up for another lol. What sizes can you get the Halibrand reps in? I reckon 15x6 on the front and 15x8 on the back would look perfect.

One must keep the fronts quite narrow on these buses, as their potential Achilles heel is the steering box, so less resistance is a good thing, so maybe stick to 5.5 front, but wider at the rear. I do love the wheels I have for the bus too, and cannot wait for it to roll on them. 1k is a lot though, but hey... who knows ?

I'd stick with the wheels you've got for now then. Can always fit the halibrand reps in a couple of years to freshen it up if you get bored with the look.

Spend the 1K - or the equivalent in time - getting the bus on the road first. Then play with different wheels

I could never imagine splurging a bag o' sand on wheels. They are incredibly nice (I was drooling over these yesterday!) however... one thousand English pounds...

they are a cool set of rims and rims do make or break a car so would be well worth the money, but as has been suggested roll with the ones you have and get those at a later date

I'd keep the ones you've got and wait for some crazy deal you can't turn down later on.... £1k is a lot of money for wheels, heck it's a lot of money for a car! Definately roofchop the towcar though

Thanks guys,
I would agree. Even the money I spent on the wheels I have, sat inside my house (people think I am mad) was a lot, considdering one rides on them, but then I have never spent money like that, planned it, and the bus is pretty unique, and when I get back to it, and it gets on the road it will be well worth it.
Thanks for the input.

I love those wheels. Gives such a great hot rod look. You should deff do it if you can afford it imo.

I'm not sure about them they look a bit jagged for such a smooth shaped vehicle and they are not pretty enough to be a feature i don't think.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

FWIW, whilst I think they look good, I don't think they look THAAAAAAAAT good, or that much better to warrant such a cost!
