I currently have sitting in my spare room a pair of Recaro-branded seats. God knows what they're out of but they were in my Volvo when I got it, and having repaired & re-fitted the originals they're now just in the way. They're in OK condition as far as the actual seats go, I think there's a couple of small fag burns in one of them, but they'd clean up quite well I reckon. The catch is that whoever fitted them to the Volvo did so by attacking the bases with an angle grinder and then welding on plates to fit the runners to, so that would be the only way you'd get them to fit into another car & I don't know how feasible that would be. My initial thoughts were that they're skip fodder, but if anyone thinks they can make use of them they can be uplifted FOC from Glasgow.     If anyone wants them, PM me.  |

I'd have these off you if I was able pick them up  I fancy some recaros before I get a retrim. They're from a sportline cab and they're rare! I'd imagine still worth a few quid aswell, even with the knackered subframes. |

Hi guys. I've had quite a few PMs about this asking about couriers and stuff. The problem I have with that is that due to the cuts and various welded metal "appendages" on the bases of both seats, most couriers would reject them on H & S grounds, I gave myself a nasty gash just lifting one out the car!  It would take a fair bit of heavy duty wrapping to guarantee a third party's safety while handling them. Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh but to be honest, if I could be arsed going to that trouble and waiting in for a courier, I would be looking for money for them, which I'm not. My idea was that if someone turns up at my door with a van, we chuck the them in and I'll wave you bye-bye. I might even make you a cup of tea too! |

they are from a vw CABBY the sportline model, now rare and a few people would have your arm to have them... Migth be worth sticking an advert on www.vwgolfmk1.org.uk in parts... |

Yep, they're Definately Sportline Recaro's, I have them in my cab.... saw a set go on the 'Bay for 490 notes very recently... and they had a couple of fag burns!!
