Hey All,bit of a repost on my part................... I'm still looking for a car for my son . Needs to be no bigger than1300cc,to keep insurance low. I think a 1.0 would be too small for the daily mileage envisaged.Possibly a Corsa/Fiesta etc hatchback. Lowish mileage.Low insurance group.Need something unabused and original,with tax /mot etc. NOT a scrap yard find ,or one that needs work,as he needs it to go from day one! Thought there may be someone has something? Cash waiting. Genuine buyer.Prefer local (Essex area) but would travel. Anybody?  Regards Rod |

I'm guessing you want a manual not auto? I have a 1400 polo 1999 on a T reg insurance group only 5. Its a auto though  |

Auto not a prob ,but 1400 cc group five is a bit too much! I'll get him to get a quote tho'. So may get back to you!

Well actually .I lied ! Its £1450 plus the apr for instalments = £1750! This is why we're trying for a max of 1300cc.

Still searching...............Now resigned to the high insurance premium(it hurts!),but still must be basic 1300cc ,or POSS, 1100cc,not injection etc.....cash waiting ! Essex or near if poss.

mate, got a n reg corsa, 1.2 its a five door, 11 months test 4 months tax, its done around 120k and it is a bit shabby, but it only owes me 300, yours if you want it, and I'm in essex

First car for me was a Mk2 1.6 Capri GL in very polished old english white with a black vinyl roof and webasto sunroof. But that was only 17 years ago! Oh I feel old. Best of luck with your hunt, mate of mine at work has a small engined polo for sale that has been pampered all its life - if I see him I'll find out if its still for sale. |

Just got insurance for a 1.1 pug,down to about £1100,including business use.Tesco's! Dunno much about peugeot's tho'!Anyone got views on them?
