Howdy all, I had a bit of an accident on the m6 concerning snow and ice so now don't have a car. I am able to get a saxo VTR for 1k but thats a bit too high for my budget so I thought I would ask here if anyone has a decent(ish) car, with a max engine size of 1.6 and not in need of masses of work for 600-700 cash.

i know its not 1.6 but travels at 70 + on motorway hows about a metro vp 1275 9mths mot 3 mths tax and only down the road £400  |

306 diesel, sensible miles long tax and test, good runner, needs a bar=ttery thats all, oh and the heater don't work, only in blackpool £375 with the tax (6 or 7 months and similAr ticket? superb on diesel as we all know, in silver if it matters

looking to get ride of my rover620 sdli next week.Yes I know tis two litre but is comfy and good on juice,run veg oil 50/50 in't winter and 100% in summer.
Only fly in the ointment is the gearbox has no fifth gear but comes with another box.
Taxed til 31/01 and six months mot -£250
oh ,comes with towbar to fit and a pair of manuals.Need 620 for car and 220/420 diesel for engine.
Boot has hard liner in it and there is a cd player fitted
