	That half-cab Splitty's pretty mad! I assume that's done for carrying loads that are as long as the pickup themselves, in a similar way to some mobile cranes and similar have a half cab to allow the jib of the crane to rest partly alongside the cab, but in any case it's bloody mad! The Taurus looks pretty authentic and tidy too!

	I'd always been led to think that the half cab/single cab split was a plumbers vehicle... see www.vintagebus.com/cgi-bin/gallery-search.cgi?string=plumber I guess the extra long bed came in handy for large pipes. There is another one about but afaik they are the only 2 in existance

	You could well be right. Must be prototypes that never got put into production or something. Probably because there was really no need for that sort of thing if you were a plumber and had to carry pipes, when you could just have bought the panel van model and strapped the pipe to the roof, it's really cool as a novelty but as a working motor it's not really practical.
