I have a weakness for allycats, selling the set I had on the Mk2 is one of my biggest regrets, but other things had to take priority at the time.
I've picked up some 14x7 Lotus Eclats off here, which I'm looking into having redrilled, and I'm in a dilemma over tyres, but I think I'll stick with the Schmidts for the time being.
Cheers guys!

There's a machine shop in Preston that'll drill em for me, a mate had his BBS RS's done there and they made a decent job. I just need to get the old ferked tyres off then I'll get em done.

Just put another years MOT on this, it's behaving perfectly on daily duties at the min.
I got one advisory: 'Tyres running close to wheelarches' 8) (in other words the rears scrub like mad)
The conversation went like this: MOT Tester: 'The wheels are bloody close to the arches, how do you manage to carry passengers?' Me: 'I don't.' MOT Tester: 'Oh.'

News flash!
I've just got hold of a new heater valve to finally cure the heater that only blows hot. The car's clearly unimpressed by the prospect of this, as the fan switch has since melted itself onto position 4. I removed the switch and tried to pry it open to examine its guts, only for about 6 springs and a ball bearing to fly out and vanish under the fridge. Great.

This is now sold.... It was my first sacrifice to my impending fatherhood, part exchanged for a 2001 Seat Leon. However my retro days are not over, the E21 3 series has just gone into daily service, see the link in my sig to watch the saga unfold
