I've had my current house for 7 years now and one of the main reasons for buying it was due to it having a large detached double garage. (somewhere to store the Z1 and also have room to tinker on another vehicle)
Shortly after moving in I found out that the power supply to the garage had been bodged and then disconnected. No power, no lights!! The roof had also been leaking and water had got into the fuse board making things even more annoying!!
After years of just using the garage as glorified storage for the Z1 and various car parts I finally got around to running a proper armoured cable out to the garage, fitting a new fuse board and getting everything working!
HOORAH!! Lights and power at last!! (after 7 years of putting it off)
So the other day I clear some space and get the Rascal in beside the Zed....ready to get some serious work done on it. I've got the lights, the power etc....so why can't I bring myself to get stuck in? Where has my Mojo gone???
Realisation dawned that I was missing some tunes....music is my Mojo and without it I can't seem to carry out more than 10 mins work (hardly productive!)
I had a few car stereo bits lying around from other vehicles includung a half decent set of Pioneer speakers and an almost new MP3 CD player. Time to put them to good use....
With some old off-cuts of ply & chipboard I banged together a box, fitted the head unit, speakers and an old power supply from an Epson scanner which had long ago been binned - VOILA!! My thrown together messy looking Mojo restorer!! ;D ;D
It works a treat and sounds pretty good considering it was made with odds & ends.....RESULT!
....and it's already found a good home amongst all my clutter. Looks like it has been there for years!
With some 30 Seconds to Mars blasting out my Mojo is back to full capacity.....so time to get started on the long overdue Project Rascal!
